Busy Moving

Guys I will be a little busy with moving and stuff. We are moving from the place we have been calling our Home. Rather than telling ROOM we always called it HOME.
It's kind of sad, but with the increasing rents and all it's time for a CHANGE.
Lots of things have changed for me since last year 2016. Good things and a lot of bad things happened as well. I guess it will continue to be the same this year and the coming years too. But still let's just hope for the BEST OF THE BEST ONLY...

At this moment I am thankful to Great God for giving me the BEST PARENTS, BEST BROTHER and most of all the BESTEST OF THE FRIENDS... I am also thankful to all the people be it the so called Friends, Relatives, Collegues and others who have touched my life in a good way and bad way as well. I will remember and consider myself Lucky to have the good things happened to me and I will also consider myself Happy that through the bad things that happened I learned my lesson and saw many real life dramas. I will forget you all, but not the lessons you have taught me. Thanks for showing your true sides knowingly or unknowingly. Thanks to that I get to survive and born again from ashes like the Phoenix bird.

So here is my first ever photo on the category- Street Photography and as you look at the picture kindly take note of the New Logo too. I'm thankful to my best friend- Shiju, who designed it so very well. He is a graphic designer with immense talent. So if anyone has any business queries about designing and stuff do contact me, I will make sure to give him contact info :)

Anything and everything in White is Divine...

I think that the color "WHITE" is divine. The things that I see in WHITE, I get a divine feeling looking at it.
Let's see some of my photos that are WHITE... or DIVINE... πŸ˜‰
I'm sure all of us have different thoughts on this. Do let me know what you think.

Love...

Having someone to love and having someone who loves you back is a blessing in life. And when they love you and you love them back unconditionally and without any expectations it is indeed a real lucky thing to happen to us. How many including me could be like that.

By LOVE I don't mean only about the love between lovers or couples only. It can be love between siblings, cousins, friends and such kind of relations. Even when we talk harshly I know that my brother cares for me and loves me.

One recent incident that made me realize this is that few days back I was kind of mad at myself. Having to do the room hunting saga all by myself I was feeling exhausted and worried. With such a tired feeling I was kindly of mad and told him, that since it was his day off he should have gone for room hunting or at least should have gone to check out the rooms that I have already kind of liked. He said that it was enough as I have seen it already and it will be than him having to look at it. I felt really annoyed at his response. What I really wanted from him was a little attention, since our parents went back home to Kerala for vacation. And then after a while as he was about to go outside to meet his friends I asked him what I should order for dinner. So he said that he will eat outside with his friends. For some reason or NO reason I kind of got angry and told him, he is lucky and he didn't have to bother about finding rooms or even about food and he didn't even bother to ask me if I will buy something to eat for myself of if I had any food already.

I think he must have really felt bad about what I said and he left out to meet his friends. Later after 5-mins he called me to say that he have ordered Shawerma and Faloodah for me. I felt a sudden calmness within me. I realized that he cared for me as well. Whether it was because of my words or not, I don't care. Because if he didn't care for me or love me, then it was not necessary for him to buy me something.

Such moments in life become memories. It's the thought that counts...

Pink flowers- I don't know the name
Doesn't all of us have similar kind of memories?? Come let's share it here.

Memories of tooth ache

The below photos were all taken in the bus, while I was coming back from Mangalore- AB Shetty Hospital after getting treated for tooth aches that has been haunting me for more than a year since 2013. I was travelling in the bus with my Achan (my father). I happened to carry my Tab with me, fearing that I might get bored during my trip to/from the hospital. As the bus kept running forward, I had the urge to take photos.
These are not of good quality, but the effort is worth it. I adjusted the brightness, did some color corrections on these photos. Hope you guys will like them.

Memories...

Isn't it a great thing that we humans are blessed with the thing called "MEMORIES".
It's a blessing and sometimes it's a curse too...
A blessing when we have sweetest things to remember and memorise. But a curse when we keep on remembering moments that we would like to forget.
But will our memories fade as the time passes??!!

Here are some of my captures that are a little old. Hope you guys like them πŸ˜‰
It's nothing special, but some memories are related to it.

I have gone crazy...

I have gone crazy and its been a little while.
Should I say that I have gone mad ever since I started blogging and photoblogging.

Because of my work I don't get much time to take photos daily, so I usually carry my DSLR with me everyday. Who knows when I will be able to capture the best of the moments? So the moment I leave my room for work, I keep my camera ON and READY to shoot whenever and whatever.
And mostly I click, click and click during my commute to and from work and while I'm in the bus. People look at me like I have gone crazy πŸ˜†

They don't really know the pleasure I get from this hobby of mine. I don't have much time for negative thoughts and negativity around me. I feel alive and happy. I also feel happy that I can click something daily. Mostly in the bus I take photos of the same scene daily, but doing this helps me take shots better. I get to improve the shots daily and everyday I learn how to place my camera to get the shot next time and how I need to be ready to shoot any time. I seem to get more creative and alive everyday.

Isn't it a good feeling to stay alive and well?? Isn't this a positive change that I'm experiencing??
It is good to love myself a little more every passing day...

The below photo is a feel good and happy moment for me. I capture it around the Oud Metha area from the bus with my NIKON on 06/02/2017 around 6:25pm.

Thought for the day !!

Hello friends...
How are you all today??

Today someone told me that I that I look different from before. Just the moment he saw me he said that I had cut my hair and I look good now. I was happy to hear that. He is a person who has been coming to my workplace since 4-5 years. And it has been around 4-5 months we have seen. He is not a collegue, but a bank professional who used to come to our office almost daily to meet our bosses. But now since they are travelling he haven't visited us since these many months.

There are times when people around us fail to notice our changes, whether it is our appearance or our mental changes. It feels good when the least expected person comes out to point out some things they have noticed.

I felt glad that someone noticed the change in me and I said to him, "who doesn't love to change". Both of us smiled and went our ways...

I think it is better to Speak your mind. Rather than not letting others know how you feel about them and what you think of them, it's always good to be free to speak up with them. This will help to strengthen the relationship, clear any misunderstandings and get more closer to the people. Rather than speaking ill behind anyone's back, isn't it better to sort out things with them directly??

What do you think guys??

Now here is my Photo of the Day. For more details about the photo click here

Busy Editing !!

Hello Guys πŸ˜‰
Hope all of you are doing good.

I have been bit busy editing and playing with various effects for the photos that I have taken/ been taking recently. It's kind of fun to play around.

There are times when you take good photos, ok photos and not so ok photos, normal photos etc... etc... It's kind of amazing that how certain adjustments in color can completely transform these photos. With all those tons of free photo editors available from the Internet Lord πŸ˜‡ it's very fun and easy to do it.

Since I'm a newbie to the photography empire, I don't have the luxury to invest in a software at the moment. That luxury I have already invested in buying a DSLR Camera 😈
So while I play around and learn much more things, I hope the online photo editors and apps will be enough for the time being.

Guys here is an example of an edited and unedited version of a photo that i captured with my Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Dual Sim Smartphone. These edits are based on my imaginations and I have edited it as I liked it. Hope you guys will enjoy it too.

Here you go...

First let's see the edited version of my click

How are you??

Dear All,
How are you guys doing. I hope all is well with all of you...

Today someone asked me "How are you?". I was surprised as it come out of nowhere. It seems like it has been a long time since someone asked me this. I am thankful that someone actually stopped by to ask me How I am. I am not sure how I am doing. May be just so-so.

There are some days like this too. Right??
Some days when all you want to do is just be at peace and not to worry about any things happening around you. I am actually craving for something like that... some peace... some calm... And a big cup of coffee πŸ˜πŸ˜‰

From now on I will try to regular here too.

For now here is an image I have posted in my PhotoBlog

Lunch - Noon & Kabab

NOON & KABAB- BAKHTIARI FOR LUNCH

This photo was taken on 17/01/2017 around 1:00PM with my Sony Xperia C5.

Let's talk about the food from NOON & KABAB. I really love their food and I have tried their Chicken Kubideh and Spicy Joojeh quite few times. I am mostly into South Indian foods, but may be because I work with few Persian people I got to try their cuisines. I must say that I really love few of these items. Unlike other restaurants in the Dubai Downtown area, NOON & KABAB outlet in Dubai Mall have affordable foods to enjoy.

The above item I got it for my lunch and it is their BAKHTIARI which is a combination of marinated chicken and meat kabab served with cucumber yogurt and choice of French Fried, Iranian Bread or Rice.
As for me I always order it with the combination of rice which comes in 3 varieties and I really enjoy it. Except that it is a little bland for our Indian taste buds.
It comes with a grilled tomato, a piece of lemon, onion and parsley salad and 3 rices are with saffron, raisins and plain rice. And it cost me only 32Dhs/- for this lunch. This is good enough to serve 2 persons.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I ordered my lunch through the UBEREATS APP. They are pretty quick in delivery and good service too.

Have a great time guys :)

On a foggy day

Dubai is really beautiful on foggy days like this. I love being here...  Look at the World's tallest building, the one and only #BurjKhalifa covered in fog.
A day like this is indeed a gift and a perk of living in Dubai and working in the Dubai Downtown area.
#TownSquareDxb is a happening place. Always lively and energetic. The vibe here is very much appealing.

Well guys, this photo was taken on 05/12/2016 around 8:49am with my Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Dual Sim smartphone. Oh! how much I love my phone for letting me take such superb photos.

3 Generations

Are you wondering about what I am going to write down now??
It's nothing special. But something that made me a little happy today morning.

As usual it was a working day and I almost reached my office building. As I was nearing the entrance doors leading to the elevator, I saw a little boy getting out of the elevator on his tricycle. I also saw a grandfather and another man carrying a little nursery backpack (I am assuming them to be the little boy's father and grandfather). I rushed to open the entrance door fearing that the little kid might get hurt if he were to ride his tricycle. The little one lifted his head and smiled at me as he rode outside the building. The grandfather too had a heart warming smile on his face and a little thank you to say as he walked out slowly. It kind of reminded my of my grandfather...
The boy's father waited inside and asked me to go in. I refused thankfully, but he said "Thank you, After You".
I smiled at him and went inside the entrance and wished him a Good day ahead and he wished me back too.

As you read, this is nothing special, but this 3 generations made me a little happy and thoughtful today.
I wonder how life's little things can make me really happy and feel good...

I hope you guys have great day ahead.

Hello!! This is me

Hi Friends 😍
I am SM and I like to call myself Silent Gaze; because basically that's what or who I am. All about silent gaze and no talks or not responding.
I am new to blogging and it's been a while since I have been thinking about it. And I think today finally it is happening. I am not particularly into anything special.
I just want to pen down my stupid thoughts, little dreams and so... πŸ‘ΈπŸ‘ΈπŸ‘Έ

I have been facing some difficult things in my family life and I really wanted to have a break from all of that. That is why I decided to start a blog.

I am from India and a Keralite on top of that. But at the moment settled in Dubai- the city of dreams and hopes. Thanks to my dad and his efforts that we are able to enjoy of life here. If not for him, I would be a home-maker back home. It's not that I hate the idea of being one, but I really don't like the idea of settling down in Kerala at the moment.

Well let's say more in the coming days.

Thanks for passing by.
Hope to see you again...
